Small boat sailor, kayaker, bicyclist and swimmer.
Tall ship sailor--I've been aloft at sea under sail on the barkentine Gazela of Philadelphia (that's me on the bowsprit on my homepage picture), the Freedom Schooner Amistad, and sailed as deck crew on the schooner Grand Nellie and the sloop Providence. I've also worked aloft on the whaling bark Charles W. Morgan, the ship Joseph Conrad, and climbed the masts of USCG Eagle, HMS Rose, Danmark, INS Tarangini, Picton Castle, and the topsail schooner Shenandoah.

Work in the Circulation Dept. of the Enfield Public Library, Enfield CT, providing patron services at both the main and Pearl St. Branch libraries (Pearl St. is a Carnegie Classic Revival library built in 1914).

Exhibit interpreter and demonstrator at Mystic Seaport, Mystic CT. Among the exhibits I interpret are the tall ships, Nautical Instruments Shop, Driggs Shipsmith Shop, Print Shop, Ship Carver Shop, Shipyard, and the Cooperage.
